The Foreign Service Academy, operationalised under the Foreign Service Act, 2021, continues to deliver the four-tier Foreign Service Training Curriculum that prepares Kenya's diplomats for service at home and abroad.
The Academy hosts the Foundation Course for newly recruited Third Secretary cadets, intermediate and advanced courses for serving diplomats, and the pre-departure induction for newly appointed Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Consuls General. Through partnerships with peer diplomatic academies and research institutions, the Academy is positioning itself as a regional centre of excellence in diplomatic training and foreign policy research.
