To pursue Kenya’s national interests and project the values of the people of Kenya through effective diplomatic representation.

Our vision

To be a leading Diplomatic Mission in contributing to mutually beneficial cooperation with the People’s Republic of China.

Our history

1963
China and Kenya established diplomatic relations on 14 December 1963, two days after Kenya attained independence.
2017
In May 2017, the two countries established a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
2025
During President William Ruto’s state visit to China in April 2025, the two Heads of State agreed to build a China-Kenya community with a shared future for the new era.
