Our history
- 1972
The Kenya High Commission in Nigeria was first opened in the City of Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria in 1972.
- 2003
It moved to Abuja, the new Capital City in 2003.
- 2012
The premises currently occupied by the High Commission Chancery and staff houses were completed in 2012 and since then the Mission resides in Government of Kenya owned properties.

To project, promote and protect Kenya’s interests in Nigeria, other countries of accreditation and ECOWAS by undertaking the following functions:
