Our history
- 1967
The Kenya Mission in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo was established in 1967 with the mandate of articulating and implementing Kenya’s Foreign Policy objectives and strengthening bilateral ties between Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo and accredited countries.
The mandate of the Embassy is drawn from the State Department of Foreign Affairs as outlines in the Executive Order No. 1 of 2025: Implementation of Kenya’s Foreign Policy in countries of accreditation
