Karibu to the Consulate General of the Republic of Kenya in Arusha.

It is my great honour and privilege to welcome you to the official website of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kenya in Arusha.

The Consulate General serves as an important link between Kenya and the United Republic of Tanzania, with particular responsibility for advancing and safeguarding Kenya’s interests within the East African Community (EAC). From our strategic location in Arusha—the headquarters of the EAC—the Consulate is uniquely positioned to contribute to the deepening of regional integration, strengthening bilateral relations, and promoting greater cooperation among the peoples and institutions of East Africa.

Our mandate extends beyond the provision of consular services. We are committed to advancing economic and commercial diplomacy, facilitating trade and investment, promoting tourism and cultural exchange, supporting Kenyan citizens, and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement between the public and private sectors of our two countries and across the EAC region.

We will continue to work closely with the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, the East African Community Secretariat, Partner States, regional institutions, the private sector, development partners and other stakeholders to advance our shared aspirations for a more integrated, prosperous and peaceful East Africa.

The Consulate also recognizes that regional integration is ultimately about people. We therefore remain committed to strengthening people-to-people relations, supporting the Kenyan community in our area of jurisdiction, and ensuring that the Consulate remains accessible, responsive and service-oriented.

I encourage you to explore the site and to remain connected with the Consulate as we pursue opportunities to strengthen the bonds between Kenya, Tanzania and the wider East African Community.
