It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Kenya Mission to the Sudan website an important milestone in our ongoing commitment towards advancing our national interests, promoting public diplomacy and enhancing engagement with all our stakeholders. The Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Sudan established Diplomatic relations after Kenya’s independence with Sudan opening its Mission in Nairobi in 1963, the Kenya Embassy Khartoum was established later in 1982. Since then both countries have continued to enjoy warm and cordial relations.

These relations are enhanced, through the strengthening of trade and investment relations, capacity-building efforts and through diaspora engagements, whom remain a vital contributor to the socio-economic development of both nations.

The development of this website reflects our recognition of the important role that digital platforms play in service delivery, communicating, and building lasting relationships with stakeholders. In this regard, we aim to build a strong foundation to deepen bilateral relations with Sudan and advance Kenya’s diplomatic engagement with its countries of accreditation, including Chad, while embracing emerging opportunities in an evolving regional and global landscape.

Our website is guided by our mandate which is to promote, project and protect the image and the interests of Kenya and the Kenyan community in Sudan and countries of accreditation derived from Kenya’s foreign policy. It aims to provide convenient access to essential information on Kenya’s trade, business, and investment opportunities, as well as the consular services we offer.

As we look to the future, I invite you to explore our website and engage with us as we work towards stronger partnerships and mutually beneficial cooperation.
