Welcome to the official website of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kenya to the United Nations in New York.

This website offers a window into Kenya’s engagement with the United Nations and our contribution to advancing peace, sustainable development and international cooperation. It also provides a platform for sharing our priorities, activities and perspectives, and connecting with the people and institutions we serve.

Kenya firmly believes in multilateralism and the central role of the United Nations in addressing our shared challenges. Guided by Kenya’s Foreign Policy and our national development aspirations, the Mission works to safeguard Kenya’s interests, strengthen international partnerships and contribute to a more peaceful, equitable and prosperous world.

Our Strategic Plan places particular emphasis on promoting peace and security, advancing sustainable development and economic prosperity, strengthening Kenya’s global presence, and deepening public diplomacy and stakeholder engagement. These priorities reflect our commitment to Kenya Vision 2030, the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the African Union’s Agenda 2063.

We remain committed to amplifying African perspectives and advancing the interests of the Global South. Through constructive dialogue and cooperation, we seek to ensure that multilateral decisions respond to the needs and aspirations of our people, while supporting effective collective action on global challenges.
