What we do

  1. Specifically, the Mission is tasked with projecting, promoting and protecting Kenya’s aspirations in the accredited nations, within the framework of bilateral and multilateral partnerships. The associated engagements entail diplomatic and political affairs, provision of consular services, and, the quest for economic and commercial prospects.
  2. With reference to diplomatic and political affairs, the Mission actively fosters Kenya’s engagements by harnessing diplomatic contacts, exchanges and engagements within the architecture of agreements with the countries of accreditation. Simultaneously, the Mission articulates Kenya’s vision for climate security and the maintenance of international peace and security.
  3. In the economic sphere, the Mission promotes Kenya’s position as a regional focal point for trade, investment and development partnerships, a multilateral hub, in addition to being a competitive tourist destination. To this end, the Mission is constantly exploring opportunities for growing the volume and worth of Kenyan exports to Iran and other countries of accreditation.
  4. Regarding consular services, the Mission prioritizes the wellbeing of the Kenyan diaspora whilst also encouraging the community to enhance its participation in the national development agenda. Some of the services rendered to the Kenyan citizens include among others registration, assistance during crises, attestation of documents such as marriage certificates and driving licenses.
