It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the official website of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kenya to the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

The Republic of Kenya enjoys cordial relations with both UNON and UNEP. As the host country, Kenya continues to support the two United Nations Offices in all fronts, including through provision of diplomatic services as well as efforts to elevate the role of UNEP as the global environmental authority, with a focus to enhancing international dialogue, advancing environmental governance, and providing solutions that support both people and the planet.

As we navigate an ever-evolving global landscape, our Mission remains steadfast in fostering meaningful collaboration towards advancing sustainable development, and promoting environmental stewardship. We are committed to contributing our voice, expertise and resources to the global environmental agenda, and we will continue to support collective actions towards a better, fairer, and more sustainable world, with a key emphasis on tackling the most pressing environmental challenges of our time, guided by the core values of ethics and integrity, patriotism, equity and transparency.
