From Parliament to the Commonwealth, from diaspora connections to humanitarian partnerships this week, the Mission turned conversations into connections & partnerships into momentum.
On 8 September, H.E. Maurice Makoloo , accompanied by Minister Ali Mambo, paid a courtesy call on the Commons Speaker Rt. Hon. Sir Lindsay Hoyle. Their cordial discussions covered bilateral, regional and multilateral issues, with a focus on strengthening parliamentary cooperation and advancing shared Commonwealth values. Both leaders reiterated the need for enhanced cooperation between our two nations to make the future better than the past.
Deputy Head of Mission Amb. Irene Maswan, meanwhile, joined @StJohnKenya at the Lord Prior’s Dinner during St John Grand Council 2026 in London.
Discussions explored opportunities to strengthen the strategic partnership with the State Department for Foreign Affairs, particularly in humanitarian diplomacy, youth engagement, international cooperation and institutional capacity.
Yesterday, Amb. Maurice Makoloo joined other heads of missions at the @USAinUK in a service to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. With its own scars from such attacks, Kenya continues to call for tolerance among nations, faiths and ideologies.
From parliamentary diplomacy and Commonwealth engagement to diaspora connections and humanitarian partnerships, the Mission remains committed to creating purposeful connections that deliver for Kenya and strengthen our relationships across the UK and the Commonwealth.
Strengthen. Enhance. Engineer. 🇰🇪
