Foreign Service Academy launches Resource Mobilization Strategy 2026–2029
Ministry notice

Kenya’s Foreign Service Academy unveiled a resource mobilization strategy for 2026–2029 to strengthen diplomatic training and research.

Kenya’s Foreign Service Academy launched its Resource Mobilization Strategy 2026–2029 on 26 August 2026, at an event presided over by the Prime Cabinet Secretary.

The strategy sets out to raise about US$30 million to position the Academy as an African hub for diplomatic education and research, with priorities in modernising training, expanding digital capability, deepening foreign-policy research and building sustainable institutional infrastructure.

Since 2006 the Academy has trained more than 5,000 officers from across the region. The strategy invites partnerships with development organisations, universities and the private sector, and reflects Kenya’s view that specialised diplomatic expertise is essential to advancing national and continental priorities.
