المكتب الصحفي

The President of the Republic of Kenya is in Addis Ababa to lead the national delegation, championing continental integration, peace and the African free-trade agenda.

The President of the Republic of Kenya departed Nairobi this morning for Addis Ababa to lead the Kenyan delegation at the African Union Heads of State and Government Summit.

Kenya's priorities at the summit centre on continental integration through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), peace and security architecture across the Horn of Africa, and the financing of climate adaptation across the continent.

Bilateral meetings with peer Heads of State are expected on the margins of the summit, focused on expanding trade, investment and people-to-people ties.
