Strengthening Kenya-Canada Relations

Kenya and Canada enjoy a longstanding partnership founded on shared values, mutual respect, and a common commitment to democracy, multilateralism, sustainable development, and international cooperation. The High Commission works to deepen these relations and advance our shared interests through the following priority areas:

Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation: Strengthening collaboration with the Government of Canada and other stakeholders, while advancing Kenya’s interests through its formal representation to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in areas including education, trade and investment, energy, technology and innovation, climate action, peace and security, sustainable development, and international civil aviation.

Tourism and Cultural Diplomacy: Showcasing Kenya’s breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, vibrant communities, and world-renowned wildlife, while encouraging greater tourism, cultural exchange, and people-to-people connections between our two countries.
