Representing Kenya in Canada

The Kenya High Commission in Ottawa is committed to strengthening the enduring partnership between Kenya and Canada, fostering meaningful engagement, and advancing shared priorities that contribute to mutual prosperity. As the principal representative of the Government of the Republic of Kenya in Canada, the Mission advances Kenya’s foreign policy objectives through diplomatic engagement, trade and investment promotion, economic diplomacy, and the pursuit of strategic opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

The High Commission also serves as an important link between Kenya and its diaspora in Canada, providing consular services, safeguarding the interests of Kenyan nationals, and promoting their participation in Kenya’s national development. At the multilateral level, the Mission coordinates with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), reinforcing Kenya’s engagement in international civil aviation and its commitment to effective multilateral cooperation.

Through these efforts, the Kenya High Commission works to deepen bilateral relations, expand economic opportunities, strengthen people-to-people ties, and promote Kenya’s interests in Canada and beyond.
